Help for Haiti
EDITORIAL
We are impressed with the outpouring of local support for Haiti. Whether it is the Nantucket Elementary School’s second grade raising over $4,000 in one week or Simon Shurey collecting Shoes for Haiti or the Rotary Club of Nantucket soliciting donations for Shelter Boxes or Joe Farrell taking his company’s ships and barges to Port au Prince to open the shipping terminals, we can be proud of the work that islanders are doing to help those in need thousands of miles away. |
