ZBA fires off denial on shooting range appeal
      A determination by zoning officer Marcus Silverstein was unanimously upheld at last Friday's Zoning Board of Appeals despite an argument from an attorney for the Trustees of Wigwam Road and Russell's Way Association that shooting in that area, where the Nantucket Hunting Association plans to build a facility, is happening illegally.

Police bust third cocaine dealer
      Francisco Pena, 29, of 12 Celtic Drive was arrested last Friday on two counts of cocaine distribution stemming from sales to an undercover narcotics agent made in July 2008. He is alleged to have sold more than seven grams of the drug to police.

Teens charged with breaking into yacht club
      Four young Nantucket teens are charged with breaking and entering and larceny after allegedly breaking into the Nantucket Yacht Club sometime between Nov. 7 and Nov. 8. Police believe the teens, who range in age from 14 to 15 years old, broke into the yacht club in the early morning of Sunday, Nov.
