The Nantucket Community is devoted to its senior citizens and owes it to them - and to all of us - to find sustainable financial models so that needed services can continue to be provided on island. We should work hard to make the partnership with Servant Health Care work for Sherburne Commons, and we should continue to explore partnerships for Our Island Home. More ... To the Editor: On behalf of the American Cancer Society, I would like to thank Nantucket for its generosity and support of the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Approximately 100 walkers and volunteers participated, and we raised more than $25,000 to fight for every birthday threatened by breast cancer in every community. More ... |
