(August 27, 2009) – Tropical Storm Danny, currently near Puerto Rico, is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane possibly head toward the Carolinas and New England this weekend, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency staff are meeting throughout today to prepare for any possible effects from the storm which could strike or be near New England on Saturday.
