Lou Guarnaccia
      Many successful artists had someone early in their life who recognized their ability and encouraged them to pursue it. Lou Guarnaccia is no exception. When he was in first grade his teacher assigned the class an at-home drawing project. Guarnaccia chose to draw his dog Duffy, and the teacher pinned up his sketch along with those from all his other classmates.

Special auction of John Austin paintings on July 11
      For two days, on July 9 and 10, art patrons will be able to see 40 pieces painted by the late John Austin that will be auctioned by Rafael Osona on July 11. The work, some of which has never been seen, spans a period from the late 1960s through the late 1980s.
