Guide to the beaches

If you are looking for the perfect getaway, look no further than our 4th annual Beach Guide. Surfing, fishing, clamming, swimming and wading beaches are given a quick review. Some of the beaches are well known and others are hidden away down unmarked public right of ways. Most are within a two mile walk or bike ride of the Nantucket Regional Transportation Authority. While the July 4 events on Main Street are fun and exciting, rest up for the fireworks in the afternoon and hit one of the island's beaches.
