I t took too long for the big green and yellow - and sometimes, red - blob to stop hovering off Nantucket's eastern shore and disappear across the ocean. Nantucket celebrates Independence Day the old fashioned way, with a festival on Main Street and activities all day for kids of all ages. There's nowhere I'd rather be on July 4th. By far, my favorite part of the day is the water battle with the fire trucks, buckets and squirt guns in a free-for-all. More ...
