      Stephanie Norris, a 2007 graduate of Nantucket High School, has been named to the Dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the spring 2009 semester. She is the daughter of Don and Kim Sparks of Nantucket and will be studying abroad at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town South Africa.

Stone used in town park causes debate
      Two downtown "hardscaping" projects are causing Nantucketers to question the jurisdiction of the Historic District Commission in relation to the use of stone and bricks. When the Department of Public Works replaced the sidewalk bricks on the north side of Main Street between Federal and Centre streets, the HDC received two reactions.
