Clay Twombley
      Five and a half years ago, Clay Twombley found himself walking along the beach on Nantucket faced with a decision: Stay or go? Suit, tie and boat shoes
      When planning to live aboard his boat this winter, Carlos Colley studied what Alaskan fishermen did to keep warm. Naval architect John G. Alden designed the classic wooden boat in 1923, and while every detail from the built-in bunks to the fold-up table to the galley kitchen was considered, Alden did not think of insulating the craft for New England winters.

Island poet Robert Frazier featured this Sunday at Spoken Word Nantucket
      Robert Frazier is the guest poet this Sunday at the Spoken Word Nantucket Poetry Reading Series at the UMass Boston Field Station. Frazier is the author of eight books of poetry and a three-time winner of the Rhysling Award for poetry. His books include "Co-Orbital Moons," "Perception Barriers" and "The Daily Chernobyl.
