Nantucket Police Blotter for the week ending Tuesday, August 12, 2008 Information provided by the Nantucket Police Department. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Wednesday, August 6

12:43 a.m. Jacob Crittenden, 26, of Grand Rapids, Mich., was arrested on Orange Street and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawfully attaching plates and operating an uninsured motor vehicle un a public way.

1:03 a.m. James M. Briard, 19, of 2 Nichols Road, was arrested on Cliff Road and charged with possession of liquor by a person under 21, possession of a class C drug and possession of a class D drug.

1:28 a.m. Justin M. Butensky, 20, of 10 Mary Ann Drive, was arrested on Broad Street and charged with possession of marijuana.

3:20 p.m. Kyle W. Paterson, 21, of 70 Union St., was arrested on Tashama Lane and charged with a marked lanes violation, unnecessary or excessive motor vehicle noise and operating a motor vehicle after having his license suspended or revoked.

Thursday, August 7

Ruairidh I. Robertson, 36, of 14 Cherry St., was arrested at his home and charged with domestic assault and battery.

2:21 a.m. Benjamin Rives, 18, of 19 York St., was arrested on Washington Street and charged with assault and battery.

8:42 p.m. Rodney A. Burns, 20, of 26 Quail Lane, was arrested on Washington Street and charged with being a disorderly person.

Friday, August 8

1:24 a.m. Colin Kelly, 23, of 8 Shimmo Pond Road, was arrested on Orange Street and charged with a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Saturday, August 9

4:16 a.m. Edward Miller, 26, of 3 Grant Ave., was arrested on Somerset Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger.

12:13 p.m. Mohamed S. Nabulsi, 55, of 61 Cato Lane, was arrested at his home and charged with domestic assault and battery.

Sunday, August 10

1:28 p.m. Roderick Brown, 26, of 16 Gray Ave., was arrested on Commercial Street for an outstanding warrant.
