Carl Lindvall has joined the Sanford Real Estate, which will soon be merging with Great Point Properties. Lindvall comes to Sanford as a second generation real estate protégé. As the son of Lucy Eaton, Nantucket's longtime broker of 20 years, Carl is excited to continue in the family career. As a finance graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder-Leed School of Business, Carl focused his internship efforts at Lehman Brothers in New York City and MB Financial Bank in Chicago. You may have seen Carl bartending at 21 Federal since the summer of 2005, and now you can contact him for sales and rentals at Sanford Real Estate located at 5 South Beach Street through the end of May. Starting June 1st the entire Sanford team will be joining the staff of Great Point Properties at their new location at 1 North Beach Street at the corner of Easton Ave. The merger of the new Great Point Properties carries sales and rental staff of 11 agents along with 4 full time administrators all under the supervision of President Edward Sanford, and co-owners Bill Liddle and Greg McKechnie.

Nikita Mardakhaev was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on April 23, 2008 weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. He is the son of Nikolai Mardakhaev and Valeryia Stashkevich of Nantucket. His grandparents are Tamara and Nikolai Mardakhaev of Polotsk, Belarus and Nina Kharujik and Valeryi Stashkevich of Minsk, Belarus. His great-grandparents are Lydia Kharujik of Minsk, Belarus and Mihael Tarkachev of Dybround, Belarus.

RyderJames Tartamellawas born on April 15, 2008 at Beth Israel Hospital after receiving his first helicopter ride. Ryder is the son of proud parents J. Brent and Dianne Tartamella of Nantucket. Grandparents are: Richard and Kathryn Dolan of Channel Islands, California; Sal and Mary Tartamella of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Francis and Geraldine McCloskey of Las Vegas, Nevada. Very proud great grandparents are Vincent and Carmella Tartamella also
