SUSTAINABLENANTUCKETMOVESTODOWNTOWNLOCATION Sustainable Nantucket is moving its offices to a new downtown location at 14 Federal Street on May 1. The office space is located on the second floor, and was once the former office of Nantucket's "first lady," the late, revered Mrs. Grace Grossman.

"We are looking forward to the move and to establishing a more visible and accessible presence in the community. As our focus is on community character and includes the revitalization of a year-round downtown, this location is perfect for us as a growing grassroots organization. The space became available and we saw it as a great opportunity to raise our profile," said Michelle Whelan, Executive Director of Sustainable Nantucket.

Sustainable Nantucket is a membership organization working on transportation solutions, Buy Local/Hire Local programs, the Nantucket Farmers and Artisans Market, a Nantucket Green Council, and a budding Youth Council; all addressing the overarching issue of "community conservation".

Its mailing address of P.O. Box 1244/02554 will remain the same.
