Marius Babinskas, 28, of 44 Surfside Road, had Jan. 26, 2007 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failing to wear a seat belt and a marked lanes violation dismissed after paying all associated court costs.

Shawn H. Cabral, 32, of Nantucket, had a Feb. 1 charge of driving an uninsured motor vehicle dismissed on payment of $100 in court costs. A charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

Joseph Cavanagh, 21, of 67 Union St., had a March 21 charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed on payment of $100 in court costs.

Cassio R. Ferreira, 21, of 66 Prospect St., had a March 21 charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on payment of $300 in court costs. Ferreira was found to be responsible for a marked lanes violation and had the charge placed on file.

Joshua W. Gohring, 23, of Attleboro, Mass., had a payment status review hearing on Sept. 8, 2007 charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, not having an inspection sticker and a number plate violation continued to March 31.

Martynas Ivaskevicius, 21, of 11 Essex Road, had March 13 charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, not having an inspection sticker, a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation and furnishing a false name to police dismissed after paying all court costs.

Faith V. Kohner, 69, of Nantucket, had an Oct. 2, 2006 charge of failing to attend a jury session dismissed at the request of the State Jury Commission.

Joseph R. Kouyoumjian, 25, of 69 Union St., was seeking to have the conditions of his probation changed stemming from a March 31, 2007 charge of assault and battery, but had the hearing continued to March 31 to give the probation department time to work out the details.

Wesley L. Lamotta, 20, of Lynn, Mass., had the terms of his probation changed after failing to check in with his probation officer for the month of January. Lamotta will now have to remain drug and alcohol free for the duration of his probation. Lamotta was on probation for a number of charges including an April 6, 2007 charge of possession of liquor by a person under 21, Jan. 27, 2007 charges of procurement of liquor by a person under 21, a marked lanes violation and not having his license in his possession, April 5, 2007 charges of procurement of liquor by a person under 21 and possession of liquor by a person under 21, and Jan. 20, 2007 charges of possession of a class D drug.

Zachary McMullen, 22, of 1 Hooper Farm Road, had March 21 charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation dismissed on payment of $100 in court costs.

Matthew Murray, 23, of 14 Chuck Hollow Road, was arraigned on March 18 charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license as a habitual traffic offender and speeding and was ordered to return to court on April 22.

Pedro Neto, 26, of 30 Norwood St., had a March 23 charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth. Neto had an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Agency detainer for unknown reasons and is likely to be deported, according to Cape and Islands Assistant District Attorney Thomas Shack.

Dorothy Perry, 17, of 45 Millbrook Road, had a March 18 charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on payment of $200 in court costs. Perry was found to be responsible for failing to stop or yield and had the charge placed on file.

David Secia, 27, of 17 Arkansas Ave., had a probation violation hearing on two July 31, 2007 charges of distributing cocaine and a drug violation near a school or park continued to March 31.

Barrett J. Snow, 36, of 43 Nobadeer Farm Road, had a dismissal hearing on a Sept. 13, 2007 charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license continued to March 31 to give him more time to make payments.

A default removal hearing for Peter Takac, 35, of 17A Gray Ave., on May 29, 2007 charges of operation a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and failing to wear a seat belt, was continued to May 19.

Cedric L. Washington, 23, of 69 Miacomet Ave., had a March 21 charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license dismissed after paying $100 in court costs.
