Some businesses new, some moving
BY MARY LANCASTER INDEPENDENT WRITER
The storefronts will look essentially the same, but several shops around town will have new tenants this summer, with businesses either opening for the first time on island or setting up at different locations.

Three of the new shops will carry jewelry. Lilly Fitzgerald is going into a portion of the Pacific Club at 15 Main St. with her one-of-a-kind pieces often inspired by travels to Asia, Europe and across the U.S. Though she studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Art and Worcester Art Museum, Fitzgerald is a self-taught metalsmith and has been in business since 1976. Another new jewelry store is Little Miss Drama, run by partners Pam Diem and Molly Martin. The Old South Wharf shop will carry Diem's distinguished handmade jewelry that stands out because of her line's classic designs featuring bold colors.

Athird jeweler new to Nantucket, Laura Munder, will open at 50 Main St. next to the Trinity Collection belonging to Townsend Wright, who also owns the building. Munder's original designs sell in select Neiman Marcus stores and in Palm Beach. The vacant second floor of the building will become an office for Scout Real Estate Capital, owned by Windwalker Real Estate principal Alan Worden.

Artist Kathleen Kelliher is taking over the gallery at 22 Old South Wharf that was formerly the Capizzo Gallery. Cooper- Shepherd Real Estate is moving from 39 Washington St. to 44 Centre St., former location of the...chocolate lingerie. Sylvia Antiques is relocating its shop from Ray's Court to 167 Orange St., which was previously Nantucket Island House Antique Consignments.

Blue Beetle gifts, formerly on South Beach Street, is moving to K. Taeger's former space at 12 Main St., while another former South Beach Street store, Pinwheels children's shop, is relocating to 32 Centre St., which had housed Mallery Alfano accessories.

Out of town, El Rincon, an El Salvadoran restaurant, is opening at 17 Old South Road, previously the Black

Angus Grille. I
