'FOOD FOR THOUGHT' ON SCRIMSHAW COLLECTION The Nantucket Historical Association is pleased to announce that Tony Dumitru will present "Carving Out the Nantucket Historical Association's Scrimshaw Collection" as part of the Food for Thought Series at noon on March 13 in the Whaling Museum at 13 Broad St. Admission is free. Dumitru, NHA collections manager, will highlight some of the more important of the 1,400 scrimshaw pieces in the NHA's collection, with a focus on the generous donors who have made it one of the finest collections in the world.
