More liquor licenses
The Board of Selectman will hold four hearings tonight related to liquor licenses. The first hearing will revisit the application for a new Seasonal Wine and Malt Beverage Package Store license for the premises at 1 North Beach Street. The board had requested more information from the applicant.

The second hearing relates to the previously considered Seasonal All Alcoholic Package Store license for 3 Salem Street. Because Jonas Baker the original applicant, already holds a pouring license for the restaurant, Slip14, and is prohibited from having more than one liquor license in his name as manager, the application is being resubmitted in the name of Baker's business partner, Joshua Harde.

The next hearing is on The Galley restaurant's alteration of premises application, required when a substantial change is made to the license holder's premises.

The Galley is currently undergoing a major renovation.

Finally, the board will consider a new application for a Seasonal All Alcoholic Beverages Innholder license for the Summer House in Siasconset. Normally the process would be to apply to transfer the existing license from the old operator to the new one, but because the new operator could not determine whether unpaid taxes are owed by the prior licensee, the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission recommended that the

management seek a new license. I
