As a tuneup to the tournament, the girls play Chatham away this afternoon and host Dennis-Yarmouth tomorrow afternoon. The Lady Whalers' only loss of the year, a 54-42 defeat, came a month ago at D-Y and they will be looking to even the score in their last regular season home game. Entering this afternoon's contest, the girls are 14-1 on the season. Their last three games have been blowouts, with victory margins of 48, 39 and 41 points.
The boys have been equally impressive, notching six straight wins since their last loss on Jan. 22, also at the hands of Dennis- Yarmouth. The boys face the challenge of settling the score at D-Y this afternoon.
In a home matchup against Provincetown Saturday, the boys completed their run through the Lighthouse Conference with a very convincing 90-35 rout of the visiting Fishermen, ensuring a third post season appearance in as many years.
The girls tip off tomorrow afternoon at 5 p.m., with the junior varsity game scheduled
for 3 p.m. I
