"Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (Rated R for sexual content, graphic nudity, drug use and language; 96 min.)

From Sony Pictures: "The up-anddown and-up-again story of musician Dewey Cox, whose songs would change a nation. On his rock 'n roll spiral, Cox sleeps with 411 women, marries three times, has 22 kids and 14 step-kids, stars in his own 70s TV show, collects friends ranging from Elvis to the Beatles to a chimp, and gets addicted to - and then kicks - every drug known to man; but despite it all, Cox grows into a national icon and eventually earns the love of a good woman - longtime backup singer Darlene." "Enchanted" (Rated PG for some scary images and mild innuendo; 107 min.)

What happens when the princess in the fairytale you read to your child last night shows up on the subway seat next to you on your way to work the next day? Giselle, played by Amy Adams, is a beautiful fairy princess relegated to modern-day Manhattan by evil Queen Narissa, played by Susan Sarandon. Prince Edward, played by James Marsden, rushes into the real world to save his betrothed, but finds that she has taken up with a jaded divorce lawyer, Patrick Dempsey. Narrated expertly by Julie Andrews, this is a modern day fairytale that the whole family will enjoy.

"Kite Runner" (Rated PG-13 for strong thematic material including the rape of a child, violence and brief strong language; 122 min.)

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name that was chosen as the Nantucket One Book, One Island pick last year, "Kite Runner" is pure story, not depending on big name stars to light up the scene. Taking place in Afghanistan and Los Angeles, this film follows the lives of two boys, through shame, war and adulthood. The kite flying scenes alone are worth the price of admission.

Starring Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" is Tim Burton's film adaptation of the wildly successful Broadway musical.
