Sean O'Neill Kotalac has qualified for the Dean's List of the Academic Center for Exploratory Students at the University of Connecticut, for Fall 2007. Sean is the son of Susan O'Neill of Connecticut and Stephen Kotalac of Nantucket.

Lisa Marie Ramos, the daughter of Kim Ramos and Butch Ramos, is studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Lisa is studying with the Cultural Experiences Abroad Program at their Global Campus. Lisa is a junior at The University of New Hampshire with a Major in Occupational Therapy and a Minor in Spanish. Lisa is a 2005 Graduate of Nantucket High School.

Jessica Sabrina Aguilar was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on Jan. 14, 2008 weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. She is the daughter of Edwin and Martha Aguilar and sister of Edwin Aguilar, Jr. of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Simon Salinas of Mexico and Ismael Aguilar and Marleny Escobar of El Salvador. Her great-grandparents are Maria Cruz Puente and Josefina Escobar of Dallas, Texas. Shelbi Grace Harimon was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on Jan. 17, 2008 weighing 7 pounds and 14 ounces. She is the daughter of Preston Harimon and Tandi Reece of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Brad and Debra Marsh of Ogallala, Neb., Terry and Kathy Harimon of Kelso, Wash., Tonya Reece of Bellevue, Neb., and Randy and Jackie Reece of Virginia Beach, Va. Her great-grandparents are Larry and Lori Boyd of Gering, Neb., Kenny and Pauline Harimon of Gering, Neb., Merle and Mary Ann Reece of Atlanta, Texas, and Francis Stalcup of Atlanta, Texas.

FIRST BIRTHDAY Addison Louisa Wotring celebrated her first birthday on January 4. Addison's proud parents are Don and Perry Louisa Wotring. Her grandparents are John and Catherine Stover of Nantucket, and Don and Carol Wotring of Lansing, MI. Her great-grandmothers are Ruth Ann Flanagan of Nantucket, and Ada Louise Stover of Worcester. Her great-great-grandmother is Dorothy Louise Locke of Worcester.
