AT ITS MEETING TONIGHT, JANUARY 9, THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN WILL:
• Hear a request from Alice's Restaurant owner Gary Simanson to name Michael Ricker as the airport terminal business's manager of record. In his application, Ricker lists prior experience with Island Spirits as clerk and assistant manager and as a clerk at Hatch's Package Store. He has also worked at the Rose and Crown, Summer House Beachside Bistro and Jared Coffin House.

• Hear a Town Clerk's request for adoption of a warrant for a presidential preference primary on Feb. 5.

• Hear a departmental review from the Department of Public Works. • Review a draft of the 2008 Annual Town Meeting warrant articles. • Hear a selectmen's report on its goal of strategic planning.
