Much fun with Shakespeare returns in a fall performance of "Much Ado About Nothing"
      I f you could not make time during the hectic summer to see Seaside Shakespeare's performance of "Much Ado About Nothing," you have another chance in early October when the company will re-stage the play on the 3rd, 4th and 5th, including matinees and evening shows at The Chicken Box.

Walden Chamber Players take the stage at Whaling Museum
with a dozen members and an island student featured in second performance
      Composers past and present will be highlighted in two unique concerts to be held at the Whaling Museum this week with the acclaimed Walden Chamber Players. Island high school senior River Bennett will be featured as a cellist at the second performance.

Island master carver Tim Parsons demonstrates at Basket Museum tomorrow
      T im Parsons does not whittle. He is a carver who over several years has mastered his art using wood, mammoth ivory and elephant ivory. Parsons will share his craft during a special demonstration at the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, one of the last programs being offered before the museum closes for the season on Oct. 11.
