HALBERSTAM FILM AT ATHENEUM
The Nantucket Atheneum will screen a 28 minute film about David Halberstam's bestselling "The Coldest Winter: America and the Korean War" on Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall. The film is produced by Powell's Books of Portland, Oregon and is the second book to be featured in its "Out of the Book" film series. From Nov. 11 to Dec. 15 "The Coldest Winter" is being screened in 60 cities across America.

The film is part of a double feature presentation that will also include John Stanton's "Last Call." Stanton's film is a documentary about Nantucket's changing sense of identity and features Halberstam's commentary on the island where he spent part of each year for more than 30 years. The event is free. For more information contact the Nantucket Atheneum at 228-1110.
