The Coast Guard handmade the gasket to repair the fishing boat. The Coast Guard towed and helped repair the McKinley, a 94-foot lobster boat from Fall River, with six people aboard. A crew from the Coast Guard cutter Tahoma boarded the vessel to assist the McKinley's crew in repairing the engine. In the meantime, the Tahoma began towing the vessel toward Nomans Island. |
