Three potential days of jury trials were scheduled for District Court this week along with arraignments, status reviews and various hearings.

Manuel Eduardo Baez-Pimentel, 22, of 33 Hooper Farm Road, had a status review on his Dec. 9, 2006 charges of cocaine distribution and conspiracy to violate the drug law. His case was continued to Nov. 13.

Carlos Chacon-Maldonado, 28, of 6 Teasdale Circle, charged Sept. 27 with driving without a license and failing to stop, had his case continued to Nov. 5.

Joel P. Coelho, 44, of Hyannis, Mass., charged April 2 with driving an uninsured vehicle with a suspended registration, had his case continued to Oct. 29.

David E. Connolly, 50, of 14 Union St., charged Sept. 26 with cocaine possession, had his case continued to Oct. 29.

Ruben Diaz, 25, of 2 South Beach St., charged Sept. 26 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving outside lanes, had his case continued to Oct. 9.

A jury trial for Stephen J. Fardig, 26, of Smithtown, N.Y., was continued to today, Oct. 3, for either trial or status review. He was charged on May 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest, driving outside lanes, negligent driving and speeding.

A probation violation hearing for Marc A. Gendron, 35, of Centerville, Mass., charged May 6, 2006 with driving under the influence of alcohol, was continued to Nov. 19.

A jury trial for Gary Gomez, 26, of 3 Cartwright Place, was taken care of through a disposition. Gomez admitted to negligent driving on July 14 and was given probation for 364 days. Aprevious charge of driving under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Gabrielus Gurauskas, 19, of 46 Macy Lane, admitted to driving without a license on Sept. 28 and was fined $500.

Astatus review of cases against Jared K. Hall, 29, of Vermont, ended with a Nov. 26, 2006 charge of driving with a suspended license being dismissed and he admitted to two counts of cocaine distribution on Nov. 30, 2006. He was given a suspended two-year sentence and placed on probation for that period.

Henry W. Huyser, 26, of 17 Old South Road, charged Sept. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving outside lanes and possessing an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, had his case continued to Oct. 29.

Daniel G. Iandoli, 37, of 8B Equator Drive, charged Sept. 25 with driving an uninsured vehicle with a suspended license and registration, will have the license charge dismissed with $100 court costs. The other charges were dismissed.

Kenneth Johnson, 32, of Illinois, charged in December 2006 with shoplifting alcohol at Hatch's Package Store, had his case continued to Oct. 22.

Elizabeth Murphy, 22, of Wellesley, Mass., charged Sept. 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol and a vehicle bylaw violation, had her case continued to Nov. 13.

Diogenes Pena-Javier, 23, of 4 Topaz Circle, charged Sept. 13 with driving an uninsured vehicle, paid due costs and had his case dismissed.

James M. Phillips, 30, of 45 Surfside Road, charged Sept. 15 with driving with a suspended license, had his case dismissed.

Manuel D. Pineda, 32, of 115 Hummock Pond Road, charged Sept. 28 with driving with a suspended license, had his case dismissed.

Scott W. Thomas, 45, of 8 Arlington St., charged Oct. 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving outside lanes, had his case continued to Oct. 9.

An arrest warrant with an order not to release was to issue for Christina L. Youd, 27, of Bourne, Mass., who failed to appear for a probation violation hearing. She was charged on Aug. 16, 2005 with drug possession and still owes the court more than $700 in fees.
