"Balls of Fury" (Rated PG-13 for crude and sex-related

humor, and for language; 90 min.) Part Hamlet, part Gladiator, and a touch of "Karate Kid", "Balls of Fury" bounces you into the world of extreme ping-pong. Former ping-pong phenom Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) is recruited by the FBI to infiltrate the ping-pong tournament hosted by crime boss Feng (Christopher Walken) where all the losers are executed. Feng also has the distinction of having killed Daytona's father. Daytona seeks out the advice of a blind ping-pong sage and restaurateur Master Wong (James Hong) and his sexy niece Maggie (Maggie Q) on his road to the ultimate ping-pong tournament.

Wed., Sept. 19, Thurs. Sept. 20, Mon. Sept. 24 and, Tues. Sept. 25, 7:30 p.m.

"Superbad" (Rated R for pervasive crude and sexual

content, strong language, drinking,

some drug use; 114 min.) A"Porky's" for the modern set, "Superbad" takes you on a rollicking ride with two misfits trying to become men in the eyes of their friends before they leave for college. Filled with typical hi-jinks and humor, this movie has more substance than a typical high school romp, and takes the brave step of emphasizing the friendship between the guys and the lesson that the journey is more important than the destination.

Fri., Sept. 21 and Sat., Sept. 22, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Sun., Sept. 23, 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
