ON THE WINNING TRACK

The varsity field hockey team cracked the win column by turning back Fall River's Durfee High School last Friday, 1-0, on a corner shot by Grace Anne Tornovish, on an assist from Cassie Moran. The team continued its winning ways by turning back Wareham Saturday, 3-0. "I hope this steamrolls into our busy week," coach Lori Moran said, referring to a slate of away games, including contests against Martha's Vineyard and Falmouth. The team is not scheduled to play another home game until Oct. 7, when Norwood visits the island. The junior varsity also did well over the weekend, defeating Durfee, 5-0, and Wareham, 5-0.
