Field hockey season gets underway

Medfield last Friday but were turned back, 2-0. Playing at home Sunday against Cohasset, Nantucket put a goal on the scoreboard but dropped a close contest, 2-1. The team travels to Mashpee today before weekend home games against Durfee on Friday and Wareham on Saturday. Friday's game is scheduled for 3 p.m., while Saturday's contest is slated for 1 p.m.
