NCH TO THE RESCUE

To the editor:

I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for the outstanding emergency response team that came to my assistance two weeks ago.

At the time I suffered a serious illness which required immediate lifesaving surgery. From the moment we called 911 until I was discharged from Nantucket Cottage Hospital my health care needs were met in an extraordinary fashion. The ambulance attendants, the Emergency Room staff, and Dr. Timothy Lepore saved my life. My family and I will be forever grateful to them.

The care I received at the hospital, by every individual from the laboratory technician to the nursing staff, was outstanding. I felt safe and comfortable at every moment during this terrifying experience. My family and I are truly grateful for the support we have received from the Nantucket health care community and our wonderful friends.
