ON THE COURT Darlene Cheverie, 42, of Sudbury, Mass., charged Aug. 25 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving outside lanes, had her case continued to Oct. 15. Vincent Cilfone, 26, of 10 Bassett Road, charged July 18 with drug possession, had his case continued to Oct. 15. A warrant was to issue for Bruce Cote, 31, of 14A Field Ave., charged May 17 with a license plate violation and driving an unregistered vehicle. Claudiney R. Dos Santos, 33, of 10 Dennis Drive, charged Aug. 26 with driving without a license and without an inspection sticker, will have the license charge dismissed with $300 court costs and was found responsible for no sticker. Fernando A. Guzman, 35, of 14 Silver St., charged July 30 with marijuana possession, admitted to the facts and had the case continued without a finding for six months. James Hollyday, 18, of Norwalk, Conn., charged Aug. 9 with drug possession and being a minor possessing alcohol, paid due costs and had the case dismissed. Mariya Johnson, 23, of 38 Macy's Lane, charged July 16, 2006 with drug possession, was released from custody after being picked up on a warrant for owing the court $500. He agreed to pay $300 on Monday and was given until Oct. 15 to pay the balance. Daniel Keating, 50, of 15 Appleton Road, charged March 23, 2004 with driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense, had his probation extended to February 2008 for time to complete community service and court payments. Justin L. Kobold, 29, of Omaha, Neb., charged June 24 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving outside lanes, had his case continued to Oct. 22. Meredith E. Laine, 35, of Norwell, Mass., charged July 8 with driving under the influence of alcohol and a vehicle bylaw violation, had her case continued to Sept. 10 for assignment of a jury trial date. Wesley L. Lamotta, 19, of 7 Pine Grove Lane, charged June 29 with driving with a suspended license, will have the charge dismissed with $500 court costs. Several probation violations were withdrawn. Nicole LeBlanc, 17, of 31 First Way, charged June 16 with driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent driving, driving without a license and speeding, had her case continued to Oct. 22. Keith Lewis, 34, of 8 Atlantic Ave., charged Dec. 1, 2006 with cocaine distribution and conspiracy to violate the drug law, has been indicted by a grand jury and will be arraigned in Superior Court on Sept. 24. Winston A. Mautner, 22, of 2 Silver St., charged in June and July 2006 with three counts of drug distribution and Jan. 13 with cocaine trafficking, two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute and three counts of drug possession, is also expected to be indicted by a grand jury and had his case continued to Sept. 24. Hidelfonso O. Monzon, 44, of 19 Cynthia Lane, charged Aug. 26 with driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to drive in the right lane or wear a seat belt, had his case continued to Sept. 10. He was arraigned by phone with a Spanish interpreter and next month an interpreter will be present in court. Seth R. Moyer, 31, of 23 Broadway, charged July 2 with driving under the influence of alcohol, had his case continued to Sept. 10 for assignment of a jury trial date. Kevin Ramos, 18, of 55 Vestal St., charged in July 2006 with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and vandalizing property and on Jan. 2 with assault and battery, had his case continued to Dec. 3 for trial because he has a work opportunity off-island. Jennifer M. Stocker, 24, of New York, N.Y., charged Aug. 1 with driving under the influence of alcohol, had her case continued to Aug. 29. Daniel W. Twomey, 20, of 28 Longwood Drive, charged May 20 with breaking and entering in the day to commit a felony and placing a person in fear, and with wanton destruction of property over $250, had his case continued to Oct. 15. Hunter W. Worswick, 18, of 13 West York Lane, charged Aug. 25 with being a minor possessing alcohol, admitted to the facts and had the case continued without a finding for one year. He was also assessed $100 court costs. A warrant requesting that bail be set at $1,000 was to issue for Christina L. Youd, 26, of Bourne, Mass., charged Aug. 16, 2005 with drug possession.
