Last week, the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum held a cocktail hour at the inimitable and charming home of collectors Ron Hoffman and Tony Gampetro, scene above holding a basket by Paul Wiler. In addition to the whimisical and fascinating antiques furnishing the home, the men enjoy an extensive collection of lightship baskets. NLBM director Albert L'Etoille said that the couple's collection was so impressive that he could liken it to an extension of the museum
