The Nantucket Historical Association houses the most complete visual record of Nantucket history in existence. The image here is from our collections, and may be one we cannot identify, wish for more information about or just want to see if people can identify. Last week's image featured a section of the Nantucket Hotel (which was located on Brant Point) being floated across the harbor to become the Dreamland Theater in the winter of 1905. Identifications were made by Robert Young, Cally Judson, Catherine Flanagan Stover, Bill McGuire, Colleen McLaughlin, John Johnson, Penny MacDonald, John McLaughlin, Grace Yates, Lisa Dunsy, and Pat Butler.
The image from two weeks ago was identified as 'Sconset Golf club by Betsy Tyler, Leslie Johnson, Robert Young, Sheila Todd, Shelley Burns, Ben Simons, Grace Yates, and Joan Larrabee.
