NANTUCKET SLAM DATES SET The 2007 Redbone @ Large Nantucket Slam to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is scheduled for September 9, 10 and 11. The two-day catch and release tournament features competitive fishing for bluefish, bonito, striped bass and false albacore where anglers try for the "Slam" - landing three different species of fish in one day. The name Redbone comes from the tournament's original mission to land redfish and bonefish. Since its inception in 1988, the tournament has branched world-wide.
