"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" (Rated PG for sequences of action violence, some
mild language and innuendo; 92 min.) Everything is going dandy for The Fantastic Four until the (lovely special-effects) Silver Surfer and Galactus bring a new fight to the foursome.

"Evan Almighty" (Rated PG; 95 min.) In this sequal to "Bruce Almighty," Steve Carell follows in Jim Carey's footsteps as a man who is given divine power by the Great I Am (Morgan Freeman). Tasked with building an ark, Evan is a congressman whose family and constituency question his sanity while he follows his calling.

"Live Free or Die Hard" (Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and
action, language and a brief sexual situation; 130
min.) Bruce Willis reprises his role as officer John McClane to combat a system of cyber-terrorists out to paralyze the U.S. by shutting down its financial systems.

"Transformers"
(Rated PG-13; 144 min.)
Two clans of robot aliens who can transform into everyday machines (like the yellow clunker 16-yearold Sam Witwicky - played by Shia LaBoeuf - buys as his first car) bring their epic war with one another to earth. The heroic Autobots and the evil Deceptacons battle for control of an empowering talisman, hidden on earth, while the U.S. government plots their destruction, and Sam and his girlfriend try to save the noble Autobots protecting them.

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"
(Rated PG-13 for sequences of fantasy violence and
frightening images; 138 min.) Harry begins his fifth year at Hogwarts as a bit of an outcast, as the warnings he and Dumbledore sound about the return of Voldemort are dismissed as lunacy. At least the cute Cho Chang is a pleasant distraction for Harry as the Ministry of Defense appoints a new Dark Arts teacher to influence the thinking at Hogwarts away from the side of Harry and Dumbledore - causing Harry and his friends to form their own magic cabal.
