The early bird gets the goods
Small Friends on Nantucket and Nantucket Looms are bringing together 50 nationally and locally recognized artisans for the 14th Annual "Event Under the Tent" Folk Art and Artisan Show.

Located on Nobadeer Farm Road, the tent features an "unparalleled selection of pottery, textiles, carving, handcrafted furniture, folk art and many one-of-a-kind masterworks by today's most celebrated artisans and craftspeople," according to Rebecca Rebecca Peraner of Nantucket Looms.

Thursday, interested patrons can attend a preview party for $50 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. General show dates are Friday, July 13, 9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m., and Saturday, July 14, 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $12, with kids under 12 entering free.

The show will benefit Small Friends on Nantucket, an early education

and care non-profit corporation. I
