KKSM VISITS ISLAND THIS SUNDAY An exhibition featuring professional skateboarders KKSM will be held this Sunday, July 15, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the outdoor skating rink at Tom Nevers, as part of KKSM's national tour. Prior to Sunday's exhibition there will be an "Identity Theft" video premier on Friday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium. CHARITY ON ICE SATURDAY The sixth annual Charity on Ice celebrity hockey game featuring former Boston Bruins greats and Olympic gold medalists, will be held Saturday, July 14, at 4 p.m. at Nantucket Ice. Festivities include an auction. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for youth tickets.

Following the game, the Charity on Ice Lobster/Steak Bake and Auction takes place at 6:30 p.m., featuring dinner under the stars with celebrity hockey players at a seaview setting. For information about both events, call Nantucket Ice at 228-2516.

GARUFIIN BAY STATE GAMES Beau Garufi, a junior at Nantucket High School will compete this Saturday and Sunday at Harvard College in the 26th annual Bay State Summer Games. Garufiwill compete in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 100 freestyle events.

This marks the second year Garufihas qualified for the Bay State Games by finishing in the top four in all three events at qualifying meets held in June.
