Directed by Adrienne Shelly, "Waitress" stars Kerri Russell as a small-town, pregnant waitress who combines otherwise ordinary ingredients of her life and creates a recipe for hope that is as sweet and unexpected as the pies that earn her local fame. Last week, the Nantucket Film Festival hosted special screenings of the film to commemorate its first annual Adrienne Shelly Award, meant to honor female filmmakers.

The ghost of Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) joins Elizabeth (Keira Knightly) and Will (Orlando Bloom) to save Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from the land of the dead, and then rally all of the world's pirates against Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander), who, in control of Davey Jones' heart, seeks to rid the world of pirates forever and advance the cause of the East India Trade Company.

"Ocean's 13" (Rated PG-13; 122 min.) George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and the boys return for the third series of the Rat Pack remake. This time, the super slick, metrosexual thieves mount up to avenge one of the original 11, Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould), after he is betrayed by casino owner Willy Banks (played by Al Pacino).
