Several options were proposed to group together similar departments, such as zoning, building, planning and health for public convenience, possible relocation of the courts, selling the Mooney building and adding on to the historic town hall. Selectman Patty Roggeveen said she would like to see numbers on what renovations would cost and a survey of town departments on working in scattered locations while examining the continuance of government offices in the core district.
