+ Voted unanimously to approve an application from Outdoor Power Equipment at 85 Pleasant St. seeking a Class II Motor Vehicle Dealer's License to sell boats and utility trailers at the site.
+ Unanimously approved sewer user fee increases. The increases will raise existing rates for metered and unmetered accounts and monthly service charges by 41 percent each in order to offset a projected sewer revenue deficit. The new rates, proposed to fund the cost of upgrading the Surfside Wastewater Treatment Facility, become effective in FY08.
+ Held a public hearing on the final draft of the Nantucket and Madaket Harbors Plan. The plan was submitted to the selectmen on May 8 and was unanimously accepted by the board May 16 with the intent to now submit it to the state's Coastal Zone Management. The CZM may take months to complete its scrutiny and suggest changes.
+ Unanimously voted to deny an HDC appeal submitted by Neil and Janet Graner of 8 Ishmael Road and an HDC appeal submitted by the Bridges Family LLC of the same address.
