CARON TO BE HONORED BY COACHES ASSOCIATION Dennis Caron, who has coached at Nantucket High School since 1972, will be honored with five other assistant coaches at the Massachusetts Football Coaches Association awards banquet April 29.

"It's a great honor," Caron said this week. "I'd like to thank all the great players, all the coaches I've worked with over the years, Vito Capizzo for giving me the opportunity and the town of Nantucket for its support."

"Since I began teaching here in 1973, Dennis continually grew in his profession and he has always given a hundred and ten percent to the youth of the island. He deserves this honor," noted Nantucket High School athletic director Nancy Larrabee.

The banquet, which will include the induction of six high school coaches into the Hall of Fame, will be held at the Lantana in Randolph. For more information, call Paul Costello at 781-585-9409.
