THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN
(All present with new board members Patty Roggeveen and Allen Reinhard)
+ Heard an announcement of 19 committee openings, some with more than one seat available. The list of openings and terms of office are available at the town building where applicants can also obtain committee interest forms. The application forms must be turned in by 4 p.m. on Tues., May 15. Apublic hearing on applications will be held May 16 at the regular selectmen's meeting when interested parties should attend to answer questions. Appointments are scheduled for June 6.
+ Unanimously approved a request from call firefighter and attorney Ken Gullicksen for call firefighters to be designated as special municipal employees. The request has no connection with Gullicksen's citizen's Town Meeting article to include call firefighters in the town's discount rate health insurance.
+ Unanimously accepted with regret Jason Flanagan's resignation as a Planning Board alternate.

+ Unanimously approved a change of corporate name on the alcoholic license for Hatch's Package Store.
+ Continued for a second time a public hearing to determine tax allocation by classification and percentage, if any, of the residential exemption for FY07.
