INTENT Apermanent ban on docks, wharves and piers island-wide, except for the RC district

PRO Nantucket's shores and its inner harbors would not be packed with private piers, wharves and docks any more than they already are right now. Existing eelgrass beds and other harbor habit would be left undisturbed and within reach of the rays of the sun.

CON Those hoping to build docks, piers and wharves would be prohibited from doing so.
