Monday's District Court spring jury session kicked off with a long docket and the need for 16 pre-trial discussions. A jury in the Carrie E. Bianchi case was not beginning to be selected until late afternoon with her trial expected to begin yesterday. Bianchi, 30, of 111 Hummock Pond Road, was charged July 4, 2006 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Kimberly L. Baker, 25, of New Hampshire, had her case continued to April 23. She was scheduled for a jury trial on a Sept. 28, 2006 charge of assault and battery.

A warrant was to issue for Claude L. Booth, 32, of 14 Bailey Road. He was charged Aug. 21, 2006 with driving with a suspended license and on Aug. 29, 2006 with drug possession. He still owes the court $350.

Walter J. Burnham, 49, of Wilbraham, Mass., had his case continued to July 30. He was scheduled for a jury trial on a June 23, 2006 charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

David J. Carpenter, 51, of 36 Chuck Hollow Road, was placed on pre-trial probation for six months and must attend counseling deemed necessary stemming from a Sept. 26, 2006 charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

William D. Ciarmataro, 22, of 117 Somerset Road, admitted to a Sept. 5, 2006 charge of driving with a suspended license. His case was continued without a finding for one year and he was assessed $500 court costs and told not to drive until he works out his license problem.

A warrant was to issue for Shawn Duncan, 32, of 10B Norquarta Drive, charged March 16 with driving without a license, without a registration in his possession and equipment violations.

Jared K. Hall, 29, of 60R Hummock Pond Road, had his cases continued to May 29. He was charged Nov. 26, 2006 with driving with a suspended license and on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2006 with cocaine distribution.

Kenute Haughton, 39, of 15 Essex Road, had his case continued to April 23. He was charged March 27 with driving without a license, giving a false name to police and drug possession, and on March 28 with driving without a license and equipment violations.

Thomas P. Heiser, 39, of 2 Dartmouth Street, paid due costs and had his case dismissed. He was charged Feb. 1, 2006 with negligent driving.

Richard K. Henry, 56, of 7 Goldfinch Drive, waived his jury trial and admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license on Sept. 25, 2006 and had his case continued without a finding for one year. He must attend the driver alcohol education program and had his license suspended for 45 days. Charges of assault and battery and leaving the scene of property damage were dismissed and he was found not responsible for driving outside lanes.

Gilbert J. Holdgate, 45, of 4 Forest Ave., scheduled for a jury trial, was instead placed on pre-trial probation for one year stemming from two cases charging him with assault and battery. He must attend counseling deemed needed by the probation department, including a batterer's program.

Douglas W. Lange, 50, of 17 Woodland Drive, waived his jury trial and admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 28, 2006. He was found guilty, given a suspended 90-day sentence, placed on probation for two years and ordered into a program for second offenders. Acharge of driving without a license was dismissed. He was found not responsible for failing to stop.

Josue Martins, 28, of 5A Mary Anne Drive, had his case continued to April 30. He was charged March 26 with driving with a suspended license, drug possession and not having an inspection sticker.

William H. Martling, 51, of 67A Miacomet Road, had his cases continued to July 30 with his scheduled jury trial on a March 14, 2006 charge of driving under the influence of alcohol continued to the August session. He was also charged Jan. 24 with assault and battery.

Ezekiel Mason, 35, of 26 Mary Anne Drive, will have an April 1 charge of driving with a suspended license dismissed with $100 court costs and was found not responsible for a lights violation.

Marvin M. McCallum, 23, of 1 Green Meadow Drive, paid due costs and had his case dismissed. He was charged Jan. 13 with driving without a license.

Emmanuel Moniz, 29, of New Bedford, Mass., had his case continued to May 29. He was charged July 27, 2006 with cocaine distribution.

Robert J. Norris, 30, of 19B Pine Grove Lane, paid costs due and had his case dismissed. He was charged Jan. 7 with driving without a license.

Kyle W. Paterson, 20, of 24A Park Circle, had his case continued to April 30. He was charged March 30 with possession of marijuana, delivering alcohol to a minor and violating a municipal bylaw.

Matthew J. Pelley, 22, of Middleborough, Mass., paid costs due and had his case dismissed. He was charged Oct. 31, 2005 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

David Secia, 26, of 4 Equator Drive, had his case continued to April 30. He was charged July 31, 2006 with cocaine distribution and a drug violation near a school, and on Dec. 22, 2006 with cocaine distribution.

Christopher M. Shaw, 27, of Orange, Mass., admitted to driving with a suspended license on March 30 and was found guilty and assessed a $500 fine.

The probation was terminated for

Emmanuel Stutts, 54, of Nantucket, who paid due costs. He was charged Jan. 22, 2004 with larceny over $250 by a single scheme.

Supha Titachotnimit, 56, of 137 Orange Street, will have a Jan. 30 charge of driving without a license dismissed with $100 court costs and was found not responsible for speeding.

Jonathan M. Symer, 25, of 82 Hummock Pond Road, waived his jury trial and admitted to a July 25, 2006 charge of assault and battery. He was found guilty, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $100 restitution to his victim.

Kenneth E. White, 48, of Sandwich, Mass., was in local custody and did not appear in court. He was charged March 31 with possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

Raymond Woitkowski, 24, of 8 Salros Road, had his case continued to May 21. He was charged March 31 with driving under the influence of alcohol, a lights violation and not

wearing a seat belt. I
