The case against Nelson A. Ayala, 28, of Nantucket, will be dismissed with $100 court costs. He was charged March 19 with driving without a license. He was found responsible for failing to stop.

Marius Babinskas, 27, of 94 Surfside Road, admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 26 and had the case continued without a finding for one year. He must attend the driver alcohol education program and had his license suspended for 45 days. He was found not responsible for driving outside lanes and not wearing a seat belt.

Debra T. Bennett, 52, of 25A Allen's Lane, had her case continued to May 21. She was charged Nov. 13, 2006 with violating a restraining order and resisting arrest.

Chad Bergeron, 31, of Rhode Island, had his case continued to April 9. He was charged Feb. 23 with driving with a suspended license and driving an uninspected vehicle with equipment violations.

Andre Bovan, 20, of Hyannis, Mass., had a probation violation hearing continued to April 23. He was charged Sept. 24, 2006 with receiving stolen property and using a vehicle without authority.

Jadir S. Bussu, 28, of 16 Pinegrove Road, had his cases continued to April 30. He was charged Jan. 14 with driving without a license, on March 4 with driving without a license and under the influence of alcohol, and on March 19 with driving without a license and without a registration in possession.

Jack K. Cartwright, 35, of 48 Essex Road and Rosedale, Miss., had his cases continued to April 23 for a probable cause hearing. He was charged Aug. 26, 2006 with cocaine distribution and on Sept. 7, 2006 with cocaine distribution and conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Patrick N. Curtis, 36, of Nantucket, had his case continued to April 23. He was charged March 24 with cocaine possession.

Marcos A. DaSilva, 24, of 6 Madaket Road, had his case continued to April 30. He was charged Feb. 14 with negligent and unlicensed driving.

Marco A. DeSouza, 25, of 18 Bartlett Road, who told Judge Lance Garth that he is an illegal immigrant, was placed on pre-trial probation for six months and restricted from driving unless he obtains a valid license. He was charged March 5 with driving without a license. He was found responsible for driving an unregistered vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.

Joseph M. Fanous, 35, of West Yarmouth, Mass., had his case continued to April 17. He was charged March 20 with driving with a suspended license, second offense.

A warrant was to issue for Mardoqueo A. Figueroa, 28, of Nancy Ann Lane, who still owes the court $345 and faces a probation violation hearing. He was charged June 9, 2005 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Marc A. Gendron, 34, of Centerville, Mass., is in an in-patient treatment program so his case was continued to June 25. He was charged May 6, 2006 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Trudie A. Hall, 20, of 4 Hatch Circle, will have a Jan. 28 charge of driving an uninsured vehicle dismissed with $100 court costs and had a charge of driving with a suspended license dismissed.

Snezhana Ivanova, 25, of 17 Mary Ann Drive, will have a Dec. 28, 2006 charge of driving an uninsured vehicle dismissed with $100 court costs.

The probation for Edward W. Kidon, 40, of 8 Daffodil Lane, was extended to May 29 to allow him to enter a treatment program. He was charged Oct. 20, 2005 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Peter J. Lanctot, 53, of 55 Somerset Road, admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 16, second offense, and was given a 90-day suspended sentence. He will be on probation for two years, during which time he must enter a 14-day inpatient treatment program and receive any recommended after-care counseling. A charge of driving without a license was dismissed and he was found responsible for driving outside lanes.

James Larkin, 48, of Brockton, Mass., paid all due costs and had his Dec. 11, 2006 charges of driving without a license and failing to stop for a school bus dismissed.

Martin Manov, 17, of 8 Sparks Avenue, had his case continued to May 29. He was charged Jan. 19 with drug possession with intent to distribute.

Larry Mote, 51, of Nantucket, had his case continued to April 9. Mote has been incarcerated on $5,000 bail but had the bail reduced to $1,000 and was released on that amount. He was charged March 8 with armed assault in a dwelling, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Finbarr A. O'Leary, 24, of Nantucket, was found guilty of driving without a license on March 24 and fined $200. He was found not responsible for not having an inspection sticker.

Kyle W. Paterson, 20, of 70 Union St., was given a date of Aug. 6 for jury trial. He was charged Jan. 19 with drug possession, driving with a suspended license not in his possession and failing to stop.

Matthew J. Pelley, 22, of Middleborough, Mass., had his probation extended to April 23 so he can complete due court payments. He was charged Oct. 31, 2005 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

A warrant was to issue for

Marbin E. Portillo, 22, of 9 Perry Lane, with an order not to release him after arrest. He had posted surety on $3,500 bail and was released for court Monday, but according to the prosecution he has left his former island residence. He was charged Jan. 21, Feb. 3 and March 9 with unarmed burglary and larceny over $250.

David Secia, 26, of 4 Equator Drive, had his case continued to April 2. He was charged July 31, 2006 with cocaine distribution and a drug violation near a school, and on Dec. 22, 2006 with cocaine distribution.

Laudiceia Soares, 36, of 10 Catherine Lane, will have a Feb. 2 charge of driving without a license dismissed with $100 court costs. She was found not responsible for a plate violation.

John M. Sundell, 42, of 5 White St., will have a March 20 charge of driving with a suspended license dismissed with $100 court costs.

A warrant was to issue for Supsa Suwit, 56, of 137 Orange St., who was charged Jan. 30 with driving without a license and speeding.

Raymond C. Symer, 19, of 78 Skyline Drive, had his case continued to April 23. He was charged Jan. 13 with leaving the scene of personal injury and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Mary Ruth Thompson, 54, of 209 Madaket Road, had her case continued to April 23. She was charged March 21 with assault and battery.

Jake W. Toy, 28, of 9 1/2 Trotter's Lane, had Oct. 22, 2006 charges of leaving the scene of property damage and negligent driving continued for six months without a finding. Toy was in an accident that caused him to strike a tree and fence posts and must pay $281 restitution. Charges of speeding and driving outside lanes were filed.

Peter C. Twomey, 17, of 8B Benjamin Drive, was placed on pretrial probation for six months stemming from a Feb. 2 school disturbance. Twomey refused to leave a classroom at the high school when asked, and when he did leave he yelled and screamed, kicked trash receptacles and banged on walls where classes were in session, according to police. During his probation he must abide by all school rules, refrain from abuse of personnel or other students, stay drug and alcohol free and submit to testing and counseling deemed necessary by the probation officer.

Curlew S. Watson, 35, of 9 West York Lane, had his Nov. 26, 2006 charge of driving an uninsured vehicle dismissed.

Kenterio Williams, 24, with a last known address of 18 Centre St., had his case continued to May 29. He was charged Jan. 31 with two counts of drug possession and resisting arrest.
