SKATING GALA MARCH 31
"Anight at the Oscars" is the theme of a skating show to be held Saturday, March 31, at 4 p.m. at Nantucket Ice. Call 228-2516 for more information.

RUNNING FOR A CAUSE Travis Lombardi and his father-in-law E. J. Harvey will run the Boston Marathon April 16 in support of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. The duo needs to raise $5,000.

Runners meet Tuesdays rain or shine at 5:15 p.m. at the corner of Beach and Easton streets for a 5:30 p.m. start. The 5K (3.1 miles) run is on paved roads over a mostly flat course, accurately wheel measured, with one hill and some moderate grades. Runners of all abilities, from beginners to veterans, are welcome. There are no entry fees. For information call (508) 228-0206.
