Driven by strong winds and high tides, a 20-foot section of plastic culvert recently washed up in East Polpis Harbor. (The pipe is similar to those used in the reconstruction of the Children's Beach boat ramp)

Here, it provides a new and interesting play-space for Rose, the dog. The tennis ball was soon recovered.
