In another long District Court session on Monday most cases were continued, including the Sept. 5, 2006 case against William D. Ciarmataro, Jr., charged with driving with a suspended license. Ciarmataro, 22, of 28 Equator Drive, now has a pre-trial hearing on Feb. 26.

Mark Clinton, 39, of Wareham, Mass., had his March 21, 2006 case involving charges of drug possession with intent to distribute and Aug. 13, 2006 case involving intimidation of a witness and a restraining order violation continued to March 5.

Steven G. Cranston, 18, of 20 Appleton Road, had a probable cause hearing continued to March 12. He was charged Nov. 10, 2006 with rape of a child with force, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and assault and battery.

Taylor R. Cullen, 24, of 51B Centre St., had a Dec. 31, 2006 charge of driving with a suspended license dismissed, was found not responsible for an equipment violation and was found responsible and assessed $250 for not registering a vehicle after 30 days.

Jordany DaSilva, 29, of 58 Essex Road, will have a Jan. 19 charge of driving without a license dismissed with $100 court costs. He was found not responsible for driving an unregistered vehicle.

A warrant was to issue at 4 p.m. for Pleszo F. Flore, 39, of New York, N.Y., who failed to appear in her Nov. 26, 2005 case involving bank embezzlement.

Patrick J. Flynn, 33, of Boston, Mass., had his Nov. 14, 2005 case dismissed after paying due costs. He was charged with breaking and entering.

Henrique Franca, 24, of 14 Thirty Acres Road, will have a Jan. 19 charge of driving without a license dismissed with $100 court costs. He was found responsible for driving outside marked lanes and not responsible for failing to wear a seat belt.

Marc A. Gendron, 34, of Centerville, Mass., had his case continued to Feb. 26. He was charged May 6, 2006 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Daniel C. Gonyea, 43, of Weston, Mass., had an Aug. 29, 2006 charge of aggravated assault and battery dismissed and admitted to a charge of domestic assault and battery. His case was continued without a finding for one year. He must remain alcohol free and continue attending counseling.

Edwar M. Hawkins, 21, of 19 Essex Road, had all his cases continued to Jan. 29. He was charged Aug. 25, 2005 with drug possession, on Nov. 26, 2005 with conspiracy and receiving stolen property, and on Dec. 22, 2006 with drug possession, driving without a license and driving outside marked lanes.

John Hilmer, 23, of 20 Appleton Road, had his cases continued to Feb. 26. He was charged on March 25, 2006 with assault and battery on a police officer and on Dec. 1, 2006 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving outside the right lane and not having a license in possession.

Ali Kalkan, 41, of 72 Union St., admitted to domestic assault and battery on Jan. 1 and had his case continued for six months without a finding.

Jonathan Kelly, 26, of 12 Macy Lane, had his case continued to March 5. He was charged on Jan. 20 with driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense, and driving outside marked lanes.

Christopher Metcalfe, 53, of Nantucket, had his cases continued to Feb. 26. He was charged with three Nov. 15, 2004 vehicle fires as well as with burning a vehicle on Oct. 4, 2006.

Michael T. Miller, 49, with a last known address of 8 Meeting House Lane, will have a Sept. 4, 2006 charge of driving an uninsured vehicle dismissed with payment of $300 restitution to Nantucket Auto Body. He was found not responsible for driving an unregistered vehicle, and a charge of abandoning a vehicle was dismissed.

Emanuel Moniz, 29, of New Bedford, Mass., had his case continued to Feb. 26. He was charged on July 27, 2006 with cocaine distribution.

Jeremy T. Nelson, 33, of 25 Sheep Pond Road, had his case continued to March 5. He was charged Nov. 12, 2006 with leaving the scene after property damage, having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and speeding.

Kyle W. Paterson, 19, of 70 Union St., had his case continued to March 5. He was charged Jan. 19 with marijuana possession, driving with a suspended license and failing to stop.

Brian Ruane, 22, of 2 Cedar Circle, had his case continued to Feb. 12. He was charged on Jan. 21 with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene after property damage and not having a license in possession.

A Dec. 18, 2005 case against David Schwieger, 37, of 21 Essex Road, was dismissed. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Robert M. Scribner, 25, of 14 Cedar Circle, had his cases continued to March 5. He was charged on Jan. 6 with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace and on Jan. 10 with drug possession and driving an unregistered vehicle.

A charge of driving under the influence of alcohol against Geoffrey T. Silva, 42, of 6 Bayberry Lane, was dismissed. He admitted to negligent driving on Dec. 12, 2006 and had the case continued one year without a finding, during which time he must stay alcohol free, submit to screenings and pay $200 court costs. He was found responsible for failing to yield and not wearing a seat belt.

Awarrant was to issue at 4 p.m. for Rui Silva, 38, of Evergreen Way, who still owes court costs from his Jan. 4 charge of driving without a license.

Jeremy J. Starks, 26, of 65 Cato Lane, had his case continued to April 9. He was charged Nov. 21, 2006 with cocaine trafficking, a drug violation near a school and drug possession.

The probation was terminated for Charles A. Stewart, 43, of 7 Tashama Lane, who paid due costs stemming from his Jan. 1, 2006 charge of negligent driving.

Steven Vieira, 29, of New Bedford, Mass., admitted to breaking a Chicken Box window on Oct. 14, 2006. The case of malicious destruction of property was continued six months without a finding and he must pay $300 in restitution.

Lloyd G. Wallace, 25, of 17A Gray Avenue, had his case continued for jury trial on Feb. 5. He was charged Nov. 19, 2006 with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and breaking and entering.
