MILESTONES

ROBERT SCOTTT ALLEN GRADUATES FROM U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY Second Lieutenant Robert Scott Allen graduated from the U. S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Astronautical Engineering on May 30, 2007. Lieutenant Allen is the grandson of Nantucket native John Allen and his wife Peggy. Great-grandparents were Nantucketers Donald and Dorothy Allen, and Step Great-grandmother is Gertrude Allen. After a short leave Lieutenant Allen will report to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

Gabriella Robin Fee was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on June 6, 2007 weighing 7 pounds and 14 ounces. She is the daughter of Heidi Carpenter and Michael Fee and sister of Olivia Corrin of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Karen Carpenter and Robert Hull and John "Jack" and Mary Fee of Nantucket. Her greatgrandparents are Doris and the late Roland Picard of Nantucket. Her great-great grandmother is Freida Thurston of Nantucket.

Cora Ann Iller was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on June 8, 2007 weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Christopher Iller and sister of Madison and Sam Iller of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Ed and Sally Hudzik and Bill and Christine Iller of Nantucket. Her great-grandparents are Bob and Joy McGrath of Nantucket, Eva Iller of Manchester, N.H. and Betty Mink of Attemonte Springs, Fla.

Kaede Orion Silva was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on June 7, 2007 weighing 7 pounds and 10 ounces. He is the son of David Currie Silva and Eliza Alles Newman of Nantucket. His grandparents are Patricia Leahy of Osterville, Mass., John Newman of Nantucket, Albert Silva of Centerville, Mass., Jane Silva of Nantucket and Ivan Skender of Nantucket. His great-grandparents are Jane Newman and Emma- Lea Currie of Nantucket.

Phineas Peter Wayland was born on Mother's Day, May 13, 2007. He is the son of Michael and Rebecca Wayland, brother of Graham Stanton Wayland, of Portland, Ore. His grandparents are Sarah Seamark of Greenwich, Conn., Peter Brown of London, England, David S. Wayland of Avon, Conn., and Rev. Georgia Ann Snell of Nantucket. His great-grandmother is Lorraine C. Snell of Falls Church, Va. and Nantucket.

BIRTHDAY

Graham Stanton Wayland, turned two years old on May 23, 10 days after the birth of his brother.
