A SAFE PLACE ANNOUNCES FIRST ANNUAL "WARMING UP NANTUCKET FAMILIES" ASafe Place is sponsoring its first ever holiday donation drive for Nantucket's neediest families. "Warming Up Nantucket Families" is now underway. New and used (must be in good condition and clean) towels, blankets, bedding, toiletries and cleaning supplies are all being accepted. For further information, please call Mary Beth at A Safe Place 228-0561, ext. 16. Donations can be dropped off at 24 Amelia Drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until December 19.

DRIVERS WANTED Got wheels? Regular and substitute drivers are needed to deliver Meals on Wheels. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon. Individuals, teams of two or more, or groups and businesses are encouraged to adopt a route. Mileage reimbursement is available.

ATLANTIC EAST REAL ESTATE BROKERS EARN RSPS CERTIFICATION Three Atlantic East Real Estate brokers have successfully completed the required courses to earn the new certification: Resort and Second- Home Property Specialist (RSPS). Heidi Drew, co-owner of the firm, Mary Malavase and Lisa Sherburne are among the first in the country to add this designation to their names.
The new certification for Realtors was created in January 2001 by the National Association of Realtors to better serve the growing second home and resort real estate market.
