I ON THE COURT Nantucket Court Report Debra Bennett, 52, of 25A Allen's Lane, had her case continued to Jan. 15. She was charged on Nov. 14 with violating an abuse order and resisting arrest. Heather Bennett, 35, of 15 Nancy Ann Lane, had her case continued to Dec. 11. She was charged on Nov. 15 with assault and battery. Eric A. Bistany, 33, of 23 Appleton Road, had his March 5 case dismissed after paying due court costs stemming from a charge of negligent driving. John R. Corby, 53, of 27 Bartlett Road, had his Feb. 10 case dismissed after paying due costs stemming from a second offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, for which he was found guilty. Steven G. Cranston, 18, of Kildeer Lane, had his case continued to Nov. 27. He was charged on Nov. 6 with rape of a child with force, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and assault and battery. Anderson Debrito, 29, of Pawtucket, R.I., admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 18 and had his case continued without a finding for one year, has to attend the driver alcohol program and had his license suspended for 45 days. He was found not responsible for driving outside marked lanes and speeding. A warrant was to issue at 4 p.m. for Cristina Fahey, 48, of 49 Pleasant St., charged on Oct. 17 with driving an unregistered car with a suspended license. Jose A. Filho, 49, of 9 Wampanog Way, had his case continued to Dec. 11. He was charged on Nov. 19 with assault and battery. Jason C. Fox, 23, of 18 Amelia Drive, admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 5. His case was continued without a finding for one year, he must attend the driver alcohol program and had his license suspended for 45 days. He was found not responsible for driving an unregistered car and a drug possession charge will be dismissed with $100 court costs. Hubert D. Hanniford, 41, of 18 Cynthia Lane, had his case continued to Dec. 18. He was charged on Oct. 5 with driving under the influence of alcohol. Rosalina D. Katten, 49, of East Falmouth, had her case continued to Dec. 11. She was charged on June 11 with driving under the influence of alcohol. Maurice G. Ortiz, 25, of 6 Pine Grove Road, paid due costs and had his case dismissed. He was charged April 9, 2005 with larceny and drug possession. Brooks J. Paradis, 23, of 13 Woodland Avenue, admitted to marijuana possession on Nov. 16 and had his case continued without a finding for six months. Alan K. Pratt, 21, of Marstons Mills, Mass., will have Nov. 16 charges of driving an uninsured car with a suspended license dismissed with $200 court costs. A charge of driving with a suspended registration was dismissed. Mark T. Reid, 43, of 33 First Way, admitted to driving under the influence of alcohol on Oct. 21 and had his case continued without a finding for one year, must attend the driver alcohol program and had his license suspended for 45 days. A charge of resisting arrest was dismissed and he was found not responsible for not wearing a seat belt and crossing marked lanes. Anthony Seward, 20, of 9 Berkeley St., will receive a new probation violation notice stemming from a Nov. 16 charge of uttering a false prescription. According to his court appointed attorney, he had wisdom teeth extracted last week and was prescribed Percocet as a pain medicine. The new allegation is that Seward changed the dosage on the prescription note from 20 pills to 80 pills. He faces this new charge as well as others on Dec. 4, when he is scheduled for a jury trial on a charge of larceny from a person and will have a hearing on other probation violations. Paul O. Steinborn, 24, of Darien, Conn., paid due costs stemming from his Aug. 24, 2005 charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and had his case dismissed. Michael F. Sturgis, 18, of 24 Flintlock Road, paid due costs stemming from his Aug. 18 charge of drug possession and had the case dimissed. Lloyd G. Wallace, 24, of 17A Gray Avenue, had his case continued to Dec. 11. He was charged on Nov. 19 with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a shod foot), assault and battery and breaking and entering to commit a misdemeanor. Todd J. Wheeler, 43, of Nantucket, had his case continued to Dec. 11. He was charged on Nov. 16 with assault and battery. Alex A. Young, 21, of Blue Mound, Ill., had his case continued to Dec. 11. He was charged July 22 with negligent driving, driving outside marked lanes and speeding. Scott L. Zentmyer, 49, of 1B Allen's Lane, paid due costs and had his case dismissed.
