DO IT UP BLUE The Booster Club is asking island businesses, particularly those downtown, to decorate their shop windows in blue and white to celebrate Saturday's Island Cup game. parade will be held prior to the game, so show your support for the Whalers.

This year's senior class also will be honored before the varsity game. Seniors and their parents are asked be in the stands by 12:15 p.m. for the 12:30 p.m. festivities. For more information, call the high school at 228- 7280.

JVS WIN With its 30-6 victory over Diman Friday afternoon, the junior varsity football team is hoping to finish the season undefeated when hosts Martha's Vineyard Saturday morning. The team is now 8-0-1 and has reeled off eight straight wins after playing to a tie in the season's first game. JV kickoff is at 10 a.m.

SAILING TURKEYS

The annual Turkey Regatta sailboat race will be held the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25, noon at Children's Beach. Experienced sailors who are interested should contact Nick Judson Nantucket Community Sailing 228-6600.

Runners meet Saturdays rain or shine at 8:45 a..m. at the corner of Beach and Easton streets for a 9 a.m. start. 5K (3.1 miles) run on paved roads over a mostly flat course. Runners of all ability from beginners to veterans are welcome. There are no entry fees. For information call (508) 228-0206.
